Empowerment through Music Workshops

Empowerment through Music is Eastern Electronic Festival’s workshop based community outreach programme that provides young youth access to music education.

By providing free, music workshops taught by Rishii Chowdhury from Yo-Tabla, we identified a major barrier to music education. With a dual focus on both prevention and intervention, the Festival will reach out to young people in areas of Sandwell, Dudley, Edgbaston, Ladywood and Bordesley Green.

Rishii Chowdhury will be giving a Tabla Workshop and talking about the health benefits of music.
